So, do you like salad? Yeah? Then you're in the right place. Eureka! Or, if you're anything like moi, you DON'T like salad but will eat it right up if it's sporting a designer coat made of this cult classic, House Garlic Dressing. If you're anything like moi, and if your mother raised you right in that you are honest with yourself, chances are that you'd just as soon skip the Bugs Bunny food and eat it atop those Club and Wheat Twin (my personal fave!) crackers they so trustingly leave in a huge basket at each booth. I swear, I could just walk in to Murphy's, sit down, eat up all the Wheat Twins and House dressing with a most voracious appetite, then get up and leave. Boom, meal's over! Free, too! (j/k!) Please, whatever you do, don't walk the check. I do not condone such deviant behavior, and neither will your momma when she has to come bail you out of the slammer for being such a cheapskate. What I am saying is this: You just might like it so well that you pigg out on this dressing (maybe you even prefer it like honey, riiiiight off the spoon!) and then find you are too full to even START on that plate of hot hamburger with gravy over all. So you have to get a doggie bag for your meal, but you don't really care because you just unapologetically washed all your sorrows away with this here zingy vegetable (and cracker!) tonic. You're in luck! Didn't I tell you awhile back I come bearing gifts? Well, here you are. Mix up a huge batch and quick! put it in the fridge for about 12 hours prior to serving. Give it away to your neighbors; friends too, of course! They will probably add you to their living will because of how much you've changed his/her life just by a generous gift of, well, this. Yes, make up a batch, let the flavors collide, and then buy yourself a bag of greens and make believe you're on a diet because you're eating salads all the time. Whatever you gotta tell yourself, just go with it! That's what I do, and I don't even like salads. But THIS, boyz and girlz, is a gamechanger. Try it and see what I mean. Or don't. After all, I am not the boss of you! I pretty much can guarantee you'll love it, though. The above recipe is a slight variation from the recipe that I have. A big shout out to Michelle Miller for letting us "borrow" a copy of hers. <3 Thank you, Michelle!!!
