I do believe the hardest thing about being a writer is that being able to write is not fluid enough. What I mean is, inspiration comes and goes. It never just arrives with luggage and rings your doorbell, waiting to be welcomed in to stay awhile. Instead, it carries its hobo sack on a long stick, and when you see it walking down the road toward you, you consider drawing the shades and darkening the room after hanging a 'No Soliciting' sign outside because you know how hard you are getting ready to labor over your piece.
