Happiness isn’t a blissful, mysterious state, according to the Dalai Lama. It’s a habit of mind that requires a certain rigor. Finding happiness is a lifelong project of replacing negative emotions with positive ones, and it’s a process of trial and error. The good news is that the return on investment is huge—and it’s available to everyone. Try shifting your focus in 2020 from lack and a general attitude of "the have-nots" to simply choosing to give thanks for everything and be grateful for all you ever were, are now, and who you are becoming. Focus on what you WANT in life rather than what you feel you have been missing. Instead of worrying about the how of it, just visualize yourself living it. Feeling it. Be grateful ahead of time for all that is happening around you. Spread love everywhere, to every person no matter. Go ahead and let HEARTS jump out of your eyes and out of your chest, and let people see your love light shining brightly. I promise you...if you do these things, your situation and your life will improve. Think about it, how can it not? All the cliches make sense: You only get what you give. What goes around, comes around. Input equals output. Love begets love. And before you know it, you will absolutely look around you, wide-eyed with nothing less than wonderment, and you'll see what I mean.
Happy New Year, Friends! May you enjoy it in good health with all the love and happiness you deserve. <3 <3 <3
