Okay, SO WHAT if I had my cards read? My GrandMaud was a wonderful woman, and she went to church AND had her readings, AND invited her pastor, Ben Killion, into our home on many occasions (poor guy). Anyway. Yes, I did. And...I feel like my reading was successful. I smiled the entire way through tonight, as I read it! I had to look up a couple of terms, but... I'm a good person. I believe in God. In karma. In our universe. I pray. I do my affirmations. I'd probably smoke weed if it weren't against my company's policy, in all honesty, just to CALM MYSELF DOWN.
Really, though? We are all operating on such different levels, SUCH different realms. And like a spiritual warfare gone awry, we just want to judge and spiritually smack each other around. Anyway. Here is my reading. I will be forever grateful to the person who did this for me. <3 <3 <3 And, unless you're in my most intimate circle, don't bother to text me or Message me with your counter offer, okay? Like, I have my boyfriend and my three best girlfriends, and I'm not saying the rest of you can go to hell, but heck!!! Here I am, just trying to find answers, trying to get closure on so many aspects of my past!!!!!! Don't sit there and judge me. That's all I'm saying. I wouldn't judge YOU...so please don't do it to ME. I love you guys. Thank you for reading this, and thank you for keeping an open mind. <3 1. Present/Current situation: Emperor – Often he symbolizes the older, more seasoned side of men. A man who has established himself through hard work and determination. When I look at this card, I see a flashy, dominate man in front of a bland, barren, landscape. He seems a little over the top compared to his surroundings. Despite this he appears to be settled in and content where he is. He may come off as a powerful figure or one who would take control, which could make someone who is independent or has been in control feel threatened but he stable and sits on solid ground. 2. Challenge: 5 of cups – It appears this man is focused on his knocked over, spilled cups. He is ignoring the two cups standing in front of him. He looks sad and stuck focused on the past guilt of those overturned cups. It is time to let go of the things that have brought you sadness and guilt. Stop ignoring what you have. You did not lose everything and you still have so much!! Time to let it go! Put it behind you and focus on all you have! 3. Past: 6 of cups – Here we have 2 children playing. They are surrounded by this quaint little stairway and cups full of flowers. This card often represent nostalgia. A need to go back to the past or relive the past. Possibly, even be stuck in the past. I feel like this card is hinting that it is time to leave some of that past behind you. 4. Near Future: King of cups – This guy is sitting here with his scepter in one hand and a cup in the other. He is clearly content and feeling like he can enjoy the moment. Cups represent love and emotions and the King represents a completion of emotional times. You can see the turbulent waters are behind him and he is satisfied where he is now. You are about to overcome your emotional roller coaster and those tough times. That is all in the past! It is about to come full circle and you are about to sit and enjoy the love and emotional stability you have craved. 5. Goals: The Stars – There is so much going on here. This card is full of life, hope, and inspiration. The woman here is confident in her skin. She is finding a balance. There is life all around her. She wants to shine! No surprise to see this card pop up for you! It screams Liz and is often associated with creative types, including writers. I think it definitely indicates that you need to continue to go after your goals and shine. 6. Subconscious issues/concerns: 2 of swords – We have this maiden sitting here blindfolded. She is unaware and uncertain of her surroundings. She is holding two swords which represent duality or choices. The thing is, everything around her is calm. She isn’t really in any danger. There isn’t any urgency there. She is basically sitting here contemplating. And, I would assume since she is blindfolded and unaware, she is imagining the worst case scenario. Although, I feel that the card represents a need for some caution. I think it is really trying to say it isn’t as bad as it seems. There isn’t a need to really make hasty choices at this time. 7. Advice: The Lovers – We have this very angelic, Adam and Eve scene here. It shows balance and harmony. It often represents a strong love relationship with good communication and positive growth. When you look at the whole picture here it is like a divine union with karmic blessings. Maybe things are aligning exactly as the universe has planned. The key to making it work will require open, effective, communication and a balance. 8. 8 Thing you may not be able to control: Queen of wands – at first when I saw this card here, I was little baffled but then I sat here and realized why it might show up here. The Queen of wands represent stability or calm security. I think for you that is unknown and doesn’t seem possible but I think the universe has it’s own plan for you and may be landing you right into a place where you can finally sit there on your throne and feel confident and secure with your surroundings. 9. Hopes/Fears: 6 of wands – So we have this guy here and he is riding on this horse through crowd. It looks almost like a celebratory parade and it more than likely is. You see the laurel wreath adorning his staff. That represents victory or success. You have overcame so many challenges! It’s time to move forward and celebrate!! 10. Outcome: Temperance - This card represents blending and balancing. We see her she has one foot in the water and one foot on the earth. Which, we also saw earlier with the star card. Water represents the unconscious mind and earth the conscious mind. This signifies getting in touch with your inner being and integration of self. You can see her pouring two cups together in a process once called tempering or blending. Everything going on around the card give off the vibe of balance and blending. This says to me it really is a time for you to find a peaceful balance within yourself and that will also project into your relationship. This will be key to being able to blend and balance together as a couple. Interestingly, cup showed up often. Cups represent love, emotions, spiritual issues. Six popped up a few times and that represents communication. I see this as being a key to your future. Overall, I noted a common theme of needing to let go of the past and look to the future. Balance was also all over the cards. I think working on a balance in all aspects of life is going to be the key to a very fruitful future. This spread really brought me a peaceful, happiness. I felt like years of struggle and unknowns were moving to the back and a future filled with joy and stability were taking the stage. ReplyForward
