This is just a little blurb about spreading sunshine and friendship. Yesterday, when I returned back home I found a package on my doorstep. I put it in the closet and wanted to wait to go through it. You know, wait until I was alone so I could savor everything inside, without having to talk about it to someone or explain for the 15th time what it was or what purpose it served. I just wanted to undo my gift in private, enjoy the beauty of it, and be thankful for my friends who placed it there. I believe, just like the Tesla song, it’s not what you got, It’s What You Give. And when others give, just know that not everybody has an ulterior motive while they’re in the act of giving. Not everyone has a hidden agenda. There are still folks out there who still do GIVE because there is goodness within their hearts and they like to see people happy. My friends have all blessed me immensely of late, and I just wanted to say thank you. Your generous spirits have inspired me to pass it on and spread sunshine around, too. Thank you all, and I love you ladies all so VERY much. ❤️❤️❤️❤Shiloh Freeman Sierra Parrett Kim Vaughn Parrett brought the beautiful kitchen pretties. Lesley Riley blessed me with my FAVORITE scent that I was too chintzy to buy for myself. My friend Emily sent me a book and a card so, SO full of encouragement that I cried when I read it. My friend Joe took me to lunch yesterday on his quick visit back to the Midwest. Last week, my friend Tina Doye-Oyer bought dinner for the kids and I, and we just laaauuughed and talked, talked and laughed. And, of course, Christi Rainwater Horner gifted me the set of spatulas I absentmindedly must have lay down somewhere between Housewares and the checkstand at Walmart a few weeks ago. Another friend also bought me my favorite tissues that, again, I am too cheap to buy for myself. Thank you all for being so good to me. I am beyond thankful for my friendships with each of you. ❤️
